On Thursday 8th March in the evening 38 very enthusiastic young Beavers had Composting and planting evening. John & Sandy Young with the assistance of the Beaver leaders Otter, Squirrel, Glen and a mother helper. The Beavers were shown how to make compost at home and then they made paper pots out of a daily newspaper and planted a broad bean  to take home.

All are now potential Master Gardeners of the future!
